Now the million dollar question, who gives a f**k about "Blacklists" in Internet? If you can't stay away from some sites, it's your fault.

What's the point of sharing this?

So US is blocking sites in EU? As long as nothing appropriate is blocked, I'm fine with that.

Also wikipedia is not the first place I'd go get more info from.

Stop thinking about it and live with changes. It's good even someone is controlling the Internet in some degree.

They are about to block/go to court with every site that contains piracy files. Nobody would spy on you, it's just major internet sites turning off their servers as a sign of the protest.

The American government have no power whatsoever on us or any websites not run on a server inside their own country. Sure if this went though, well known sites such as FB would be closed down, but it is very unlikely that this law will actually go down (practically everyone is against it) and so really people are overreacting a bit

A bit late here, but doesn't really matter, just wanted to say that US haves no power toward European countries and all other ones, they can block sites inside America, sure, but it's just the fact that pirates are unstoppable and they come from various parts of the world, so this bill doesn't make any sense but to block popular websites, avoiding it's real purpose to "stop online piracy". Even tho the guy who started this bill never used the internet, he haves no idea how he can limit it's freedom.

Re: Internet blacklists?!

Well, now both SOPA and PIPA bodies have been silenced "indefinitely" by congress, I must confess that this was a bold move from them. Now, after I really took time out of my pirated movies/songs/games playing time, I confess that this is bad in many ways. Think about the authors/scripters/artists that took out their fortunes to develop something that are actually new and "patented" cannot do anything about their products flying everywhere in every country (including India). f**king gypsies are making fortunes out of their creations.

Well, I confess that I haven't bought any original CD's or DVD's or any related items EXCEPT Gta Vice city. And from now I am planning to buy everything thats original.

PS: Does amazon sell original stuff? Also I am going to buy Amazon's kindle fire.
